Christmas Coffee

Christmas Coffee has become an annual tradition of hunting down exceptionally exceptional coffee and bringing it to you in time for Holiday cheer. This year we are proud to introduce our first coffee from Peru!

Valle Inca Group is a Producer Group nestled in the Yanatile Valley in the south of Peru. Prudencio Vargas Saenz created and runs the group, which has over 100 members. It's no wonder farmers want to join; Prudencio buys parchment (dried coffee) from farmers, then reinvests his profits in the community’s infrastructure to help them continue to improve quality. He is known for his honesty, trustworthiness, dedication, and drive to invest and reinvest in his community, genuinely engaging their goals and concerns. He also pays higher prices than farmers had access to prior to the founding of Valle Inca, which has helped to improve quality as well as overall community health over time. 

Leaders like Prudencio are rare, and the quality of connection between leadership and producer shines through in the cup. Coffees from Valle Inca Group have a lot to offer in the way of nuance, but are also wonderfully approachable. This is a wonderful coffee to share with loved ones and family, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
