When do you roast and ship?
We roast every Monday and Thursday, and ship every Tuesday and Thursday. Any orders received between Thursday and Sunday night will be shipped on Tuesday. Any orders received after Monday morning will ship on Thursday.
Is your coffee ground or whole bean?
For the sake of freshness and quality, whole bean is strongly recommended. It makes a huge difference in flavor and is the #1 way to level up your coffee ritual. However, we understand that not everyone has or wants a coffee grinder! So if you'd like your coffee ground, please say so in the Special Instructions box at checkout. Let us know what device you're brewing on so we can get the grind right (ie. Ground for French Press).
How do subscriptions work?
All you have to do is select the subscription plan that suits you and we will take care of the rest. If you choose a Rotating Subscription we will rotate through all our coffees, and ship you new coffees first (often before they're available online or in the cafe). We ship or hand deliver subscription coffees on Tuesday of every week (for free!). If you choose to pick up your Subscription from our Cafe, we'll give you a cup of coffee on the house.
Do you add flavor to your coffee?
Never! The flavor notes listed on each bag are a naturally occurring product of location, growing, picking, sorting, processing, drying, shipping, roasting, and a whole host of other factors. All that hard work culminates in a unique flavor profile for each coffee, and we would never cover that up.
Where do you source your coffees?
We value quality, transparency, personal connection, and discovery. This is how we've approached our business, and we seek out green coffee importers who are in line with these values. Each coffee you purchase will list the importer on the label as a simple step of transparency.
Do you have a brick and mortar store?
We do! Located at 874 Oakland Park Ave, Columbus OH 43224, in the front of our roasting facility. We are open Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm, and Saturday-Sunday from 8am-3pm. Come say hi! More info on our Cafe HERE.
